EDIT: figured it out, and got over my short-term bout of stupidity.
We had to do some ad-lib electrical repairs at the rallycross yesterday (involving bypassing and rerouting some wires due to damage). Anyhow....now that I'm installing new wiring, having trouble remembering what plugs into where at the kill switch for some incomprehensible reason.
So I have a 6-post kill switch.
Things that plug into the killswitch smaller blade-style poles:
1. ground wire (with resistor)
2. small power from battery
3. small power "out" to ECU (which has a double-pigtail on this end)
So which side/"number" do each attach to on the e30?
I have this reference diagram:
So the ground obviously goes to "1" on the side of the switch with the main battery lug. but the other three don't really match up with what I have otherwise. For instance, of the four blade posts, which one is where the small wire FROM the battery goes? Once I have that one right, the twin pigtail will obviously be the last two.
I literally feel like the dumbest person in the world right now.
