I know, I missed Monterey car week last week. But, I'm new to the SF Bay area, still without a vehicle, and my family has yet to move out here (Oakland-ish) to join me, so I have nothing to do over the weekend.
Anything fun going on? Bonus points if I can get there by public transportation or a cheap Uber ride.
If you're around Berkeley, there's a fairly intimate cars and coffee Sunday. Roughly 40 cars - almost all vintage.
At the Fellini Coffee Bar on University Ave from 8-11 am.
I'm certainly close enough to Berkeley to make it there for that! Thanks for the heads up.
In terms of meet-ups, there's also another next Saturday (The 2nd) at EASY in Emeryville next to Pixar. Vintage Porsche-centric. It's also within a block or so of Fantasy Junction, which at any time has a mind-blowing collection of cars for sale. (Look up their website).
Not super useful if you don't have your car out here yet, but there's a catalog of the bay area autox events maintained here:

Does that Cars and Coffee meet every Sunday?
I'm just down the road and would love to drop by some time.
In reply to CyberEric:
This version of Cars and Coffee is pretty new - this is the fourth one, I think, and a bit underground, as they don't want to outgrow the venue and become a zoo. (If you want to go to a zoo, look up the Blackhawk C and C) PM me and I'll send you a link to the invite list.
I went and had a nice time - pretty low key, good coffee and pastries, and some cool cars - including this true unicorn, the ever elusive functional BiTurbo

Made me want something older than my Miata - like another E30, perhaps.
