Did anybody catch the qualifying this morning? Fisichella took pole in the Force India, which normally comes in last.

A Ferrari is in last place, which almost never happens.

McClaren is mid-pack, another suprise.

I'm gonna enjoy this race, I think. My favorite drivers are in the top 5 spots ( I like to root for underdogs), and if it should rain (which it probably will), it's gonna be a helluva show!

Don't miss it!

The best part is Button in 14th and his team mate 10 places in front.

^Booo this man. I've always been a big fan of Button and glad to see he was doing awesome at the beginning of the year, don't know what has happened though. Choking under the pressure?

Badoer doesn't really count. I seriously doubt he will still have the drive in Monza unless he does something miraculous in the race.

3 seconds off the pace and still puts it in the wall?

Not good.

Is there anyone still out there that believes Badoer was getting a raw deal when Shumi was being considered instead of Badoer....????

Ferrari know what they were doing .... to bad the cracked vertebras have kept him out... would have been fun to see how much / if any he had lost

Normally I would agree, but they haven't been hitting on much this season. Fisi has long said he would drop whatever he was doing, given a chance to pilot one of the red cars, which has been suggested, and rumors are strong that Fonzo will have a seat with them next year. Badoer may be an excellent test driver, but he showed today that when the chips are down, he's coming up short. Watching Schumi come out of retirement would have been cool, but it wasn't in the cards either. After years of leading Ferrari to dominance, only to get canned, I just have to think Brawn is smiling deep down inside at the way this season has turned out.

Like I said: Craziness.

Maybe it's another one of those Eurozone advert bans.

I think Vettel is the real deal; we're gonna hear more from this guy.

I've been saying that since the beginning of last year. Vettel and Webber are probably my two favorite drivers in F1 (Webber has been for a long time), so ipso facto Red Bull is now my favorite team in the paddock since they have my two favorite drivers.

I wonder if Mercedez will be able to reliably supply 4 teams with engines next year.

I saw Luca Badoer wearing a hat that said "L Bad".

It should have said "I Bad" .

The question is... Will Fisichella be in the Ferrari next week ?? He has stated that if the opportunity arose he'd quit in a heartbeat to go to Ferrari.

Sure, but they all have built-in release provisions. He'll have to dump a 6 figure paycheck, but I figure very few drivers would turn down a chance to drive the prancing horse. Fisi seems like a stange choice, but he's damn good in the wet, and almost never balls it up.

Did anyone else catch the lady eating a waffle? I don't know why but I fell off the couch laughing when they showed her eating that authentic Belgian waffle!

If not for the first lap accident to bring out the SC, Fisi would have had it. Great race, great season- 6 races in a row with different winners- the championship keeps tightening up.

Should be a fun end to the championship! And no chance for Ferrari or McLaren to be part of the top 3!

with the KERS working as well as it was for Kimi I think the results would have been the same as with the SC.... Fisi would have pushed him to the end (as he did) but the 80 hp advantage Kimi enjoyed really showed (first 2/3s of race) going through EAU ROUGE and up KEMMEL STRAIGHT were just too much to overcome..... even with a chassis that seemed to be working better... (besides he wants to drive for Ferrari in the next race)
