My $300 exocet donor turned out to have a bent rear upper control arm. It was bent back easily a 1/2 inch. What are the odds the rear hub is toast? Possibly compounding the problem the bolt for lower control arm in the same hub was seriously seized and had to be cut out.
Thanks
Usually it's the lower that bends. The arms usually fail before the hub, so most times the hub is okay.

Had a similar situation to what you note above on the donor Miata I used for my Exocet build. Bent upper, no apparent damage to the lower. However, the long thru bolt that goes through the lower and the hub was bent (making extraction of it a tedious project), and the bearing failed shortly after I got all otherwise repaired and back on the road. Also, I was not super happy with the state of the rear subframe, as various diagonal measurements didn't seem close enough (side to side) for me to be happy, but was able to score a much better one on C-list for $50, so that got replaced also (along with the camber bolts all around as all originals were toast anyway).
No idea how the p/o did that combination of damage, but whatever he/she did, they did it in earnest !!!
Thanks for he help. I will use the hub for now and look into replacing it if I can't get a proper alignment when the car is built. Should have suspected something when three tires had lots of tread and the one on this corner was nearly bald:)
