seconding this. get a F-150 RCSB 4x4 with the coyote, put a whipple on it and run 9s. Those things are bananas
EDIT: get a 4 door, missed that is a requirement. you'll have to settle for mid-9s.

Cletus has a YT video where they did exactly this.

To answer this I would need to know how many street takeovers you usually participate in per week.
I think the Cadillac Blackwings are the obvious choice and future classics to boot.
Two left-field options to test drive: a Golf R Autobahn and a Model 3 Performance. Both have a nice low denominator in their power-to-weight ratios.
Looked at the Blackwing one more time it fits a bunch of boxes but I would have to sell the truck which would not be ideal. Raptor R is a ton of fun and if I could get one at MSRP or under to cover some of the taxes that would be the pick as it toes everything.
The TRX is ungodly to insure like 2.5x the Raptor R for some reason. Assuming people change the blowers and make way way to much power.
The dark house was a F2/350 7.3 with the performace blower in a high spec. Which I am not sure I can actually get as they are light on the ground and the blower is not 100% through CARB yet for approval.
So after talking it over with the family we decided to look at just keeping the XL, spend some cash making it nice inside (leather seat covers, big stereo and side steps for the wife, maybe the P700 blower if its allowed on the long bed) Then doing something stupid and fun. So I put an offer on a friends/friends supercharged coyote FFR MK4 Cobra up in San Franciso. I have no belief that it will pass because it is stupid cheap for what it is but if its solid and has the SB100 sticker like they say it will keep me occupied for a few years
Don't get me wrong, I would lust after another FFR. I had one for years. Just understand that it's a complete one trick pony. No windows, no AC, probably no heater, loud, stuff as E36 M3, on and on. There's nothing like it on that warm and sunny day and a clean road. During other times, not so much.
It's been mentioned, but I would give strong consideration to the Hellcat. Nevermind the reputation it has, as a fast and competent blown 4 door it's stellar. The ride won't punish you, it's fast in a straight line and quite good on a twisty road.
How can any discussion of boosted V8 nice cars be complete without discussing the AMG options. Anything -63 is amazing.
Love the RS6. There are a few in my neighborhood and they are gorgeous. They also sound very very nice.
I got to play with a CT5 manual Blackwing which I wanted to do before I made a decision. I really want one but my god are the manual gears to long. Like go to jail in 2nd gear long, surprisingly quiet as well. Also pedals are really close together for my giant ass feet. Sounds like mid/high 70's for a non carbon pack car with the good seats is the number. Not selling on BAT which is interesting but lots of weird color options lately there. The CT4 V BW looks to be the better drivers car and much cheaper as well.
This is one of those if you have the means cars that does just about everything all rolled into one package.
Looked at a used RS6 again there is a dark blue 24 for sale with the soft suspension but no deal to be had. Found a RSQ8 but black on black and all the used ones are black. SQ5 is really nice as well and plenty fast.
Also got a bit of time in a Hellcat with a manual which again is pretty darn good but the interior is down market. Looked at a friends flying spur as well and I could totally do that as well if I could find a good color combo and sub 30K miles, couple family memebers have had them and even with big miles they held up well.
TRX is the answer though and keeping my ears to the ground for one. Plows right over a bad road and its significantly cheaper then a user Raptor R. Plus it will tow the trailer. Got to wait till February for my bonus as I am not paying 7.9% interest on a loan.
E63 AMG Wagon or a Porsche Cayenne Turbo (S). I'll probably end up with the Cayenne next because of tax advantages vs the E63 wagon. I'm targetting 2014-2015's as I don't like the touch screen interiors on the newer ones.
The CT4VBW with its LF4 TTV6 is a *great* car that unfortunately Cadillac promotes practically zero compared to the CT5VBW. It fixed the biggest issue with the ATS-V: terrible cupholders!
Biggest downside to it, IMO, is the back seat doesn't have a lot of legroom...fine for kids but wouldn't want to do a six hour trip with grown adults in the back.
Just because you can get them for basically pennies now, has Panamera Turbo been suggested? I bought a dealer-maintained first-gen with low-ish miles last year for $20k all in, including a comprehensive PPI. It's a giggle machine, and <knocks wood> have found it actually incredibly home-mechanic friendly for normal consumable items.
They get a bad rep for lots of reasons, but personally I haven't found a better 4 adult-sized human fitting sedan that checks the boxes better for my use case. I will add the caveat though- I don't have RS6 money, but if I did I'd probably be driving one.
Edit- Happy to see it has been. Can vouch, very fun! The E-hybrid turbo would be the trim I'd look at, as already been mentioned. If you aren't tracking it, spring for the air suspension. It goes from 80's cadillac in comfort mode, to long low and compliant in sport mode.

A neighbor has one and is very frustrating with how hard it is to work on. He's been on that job for weeks and it's to the point that I purposely don't ask. Last time I did, he said something about having to pull the engine (which only comes out the bottom, which he can't do) in order to get at a suspect component.
I believe that wearymicrobe lives in the San Diego area, as do I. I'm a bit surprised at what he wants to buy. One of the biggest reasons I sold Midlana was traffic, where driving anything seriously sporty was death by 1000 cuts due to seemingly every traffic light being red, freeways full enough to inhibit any "antics", and it regularly took me one full hour to commute home 25 miles. Want to take a nice drive down 101? Expect average speed to again be about 25 mph. We now have a boring compact SUV and surprise, the sucky traffic doesn't bother me any longer . Meh, don't listen to me - buy what you want, but next time I see that model in traffic tooling along at 25 mph, I'll think, "yup."

Socal traffic is brutal but I do go on road trips quite a bit and have a small amount of fun. In the city its onramp and offramp fun only though. I did a few years in traffic here in my R8's and that was not terrible but I did eventually sell the those because leaving them on the street and worrying about them at the time took the fun out of it. It about being able to have fun in the limited window that you have not using the car to 100% of the capacity.
Deep down I know that a loaded up F150 is what I should buy. The Blackwing appeals to me because it is special and semi invisible here.
Everyone whose driven it seems to rave about the CT4 BW. It just won C and D review between the M3 and the Alfa Giulia.
In reply to kb58 :
San Diego has easily the best driving I've ever experienced - come on out to Poway for a trip with me and I'll show you the good roads. Even without going out there, the freeways are great and don't suffer from that problem - 163, 56, 52, 805 are all fun.
