Looking for some new car shows to add to my stable
I watch thr powernation shows from spike, they're just ok but I watch them anyway
top gear is still the holy grail of course
used to watch counting cars but it was so light on tech I pulked the pkug
loved wheeler dealers but I dont think they are making new episodes?
any suggestions?
I like "Chasing Classic Cars" with Wayne Carini.
they're all online (youtube)
regular car reviews
the smoking tire
mighty car mods
and /drive network
Call me crazy but I find fast n loud entertaining and their tech stuff is spot on and not super dulled down to baby level. They do a nice job of explaining things to newbs.

i watched that one a couple times i think gas monkey garage right?
I like watching All Girls Garage for a couple of reasons.
Well, and because they do some interesting things with BMWs sometimes.
Legendary Motorcars is also a good one, not your typically reality show bullE36 M3.
Of course, Wheeler Dealers is the probably the best for actually learning something and seeing some interesting cars, though the showmanship gets a little old.
I just started watching Fifth Gear. Very similar format to TopGear but less gags, more car information. I was surprised how much I like it.
Also agree with the comments and recommendation on Fast and Loud.
Yeah, in my head Fifth Gear kind of splits the difference between the straight up Motorweek on PBS and the nutter circus Top Gear UK.
EDIT: Just, whatever you do, don't read the youtube comments. Dumbest corner of the internet.

I find myself fast forwarding a lot on Fifth Gear. I mean, what do I care about the latest hot hatch from Peugeot?
Mighty Car Mods and Roadkill bar none. YouTube only though.
Youtube all the way. Way less commercials.
Check out these channels:
/Drive -Awesome mixture of Motorsport analysis(/Shakedown), Muscle car (/Big Muscle),and old and new car specific reviews
TheSmokingTire -Hosted by Matt Farah, this was one of the first shows I started watching that turned me into a gearhead. Matt does an excellent job of reviewing all manner of fascinating and expensive cars. Also he respects the hell out of the guys out there that build cars they love out of their parent's garage (i.e. me )
FastLaneDaily -Hosted by the charismatic Derek D., he gives a daily overview of all the news and hoop-blah in the car world
Jay Leno's Garage -Need I explain more? I don't think I envy any guy in this world more.
MightyCarMods -Another channel that kick-started my gearhead career. Every show is very well edited and a lot of fun to watch. And they're a bunch of Aussie's, what's not to love?
Roadkill on the Motortrend channel -Probably the only show keeping that Youtube channel alive, it is hands down my favorite car show to watch. I really can't begin to explain it, you just have to watch. Old vintage muscle cars, two really cool guys who know everything car related, and the wide expanse of the US.
That pretty much sums it up. I love Youtube. I don't even watch TV anymore. I got tired of watching Fast N' Loud and ending up sitting through ads half the time. I can just subscribe to all these channels and their new videos just pop up in my Youtube app.

I still enjoy watching the stuff on cars we'll never see. But the 15 minute long section in the midddle of every episode about the car raffle gets annoying. they do "give away" some cool old cars though. Especially the minty MKII GTI a few years back.
There seems to be a new season of wheeler dealers going on right now. Just watched one on the ricey FD RX-7. Was a cool car, but the reptile print wheels and spoiler were too much. Oh yah, they also sold it back to the guy they bought it from. WTF? Made it seem like just another staged car build show. I think that was the plan all along.
Last time someone on here brought up road kill on YouTube I inexplicably lost track of hours at a time.

What ever you do then, DON'T look up Mighty Car Mods.
