The Caprice is dead. Its going to the junkyard. But its got very nice Goodyears on it. To be able to get the quoted price, it needs to roll.
Where's a good place to look for very, very cheap tire/rim combos? CL is a miss. This is a 5x5 pattern. Chevy trucks , from the 80s to mid 90s will also fit.
I'm North of Chicago if that helps.

Caprice is a popular bolt pattern, if it just needs to roll then I would think a junkyard for 4 mismatched rims that have tires that hold air would be the best bet.
Any good "pull your own" type yards in your immediate area?
Could you use 4 temporary spare tires? Those are cheap at junkyards.
You can torch the centers out of any donut spares and get them to fit long enough to "roll"
If you really wanna be hack, torch the centers out and weld them to the hubs.
Depends on how loose the junkyards definition of "roll" is.
Well, if we're talking super ghetto, I'll use the crappy spare, and an old carcass that I saved when I bought the Goodyears. The irony would be that the Pull-a-Part yard is were its going. If it just has to roll, I'll torch the center out of some Jeep rims if I can't find anything tomorrow at the local junkyard.
why does it need to roll? install the existing tires on it with 2 lug nuts per wheel to roll it on the trailer.. remove tires on the trailer and set it down on blocks and ratchet strap the heap down.. the yard should be able to pick it up off the trailer.. also, you get more if you take the gas tank out. use a bolt cutter to cut the tank straps, wires, and fuel lines and just throw it in the back seat or strap it down to the trunk. saves them the trouble of flipping the car over and tearing it out with a backhoe and gets you a better price for the car. they also like it more if you drain any fluids- a punch thru the oil pans on the engine and trans works wonders.. also, pull the radiator out and sell it to them separately..
or if it really must roll- use whatever wheels you have lying around and attack them with a torch, grinder, whatever to get them so they go over the studs so you can get 2 lug nuts on.. if the brake calipers hit- take them off.. if they don't clear the rear drums, take them off.. you should be able to get even 13" wheels on there with this method. also, don't forget to throw a 5th tire in the trunk- the local scrap yards all say you can have up to 5 tires on or in the vehicle without getting charged for tire disposal, so take advantage of it. also, it's extra weight.. this is also a good time to get rid of any extra car parts you don't want by stuffing them in the car.. again- weight...
don't torch anything. just knock out 4 of the wheel studs and use one nut to hold whatever bolt pattern junk wheel on you want. it'll still roll as long as it clears the suspension.
