Several of our conifears are leaving sap on the cars. Having trouble finding an effective remover. Recommendations? TIA!

I generally use 90+% alcohol on a rag. Turn the rag often, otherwise you will keep re-depositing sap. Works and wont harm the paint.
Get to it sooner than later, makes it much much easier to remove if its fresh.
Check your hand sanitizer. Most of them these days use significant amounts of IPA as the active disinfectant. The gelling agents and thickeners make it stay where you put it and evaporate slower than straight IPA so it has more time to attack the sap.
I once used hand sanitizer in a tiny cauldron thingy to make smores on a kitchen table. I couldn't find that camping 'fire gel' but i figured hey hand sanitizer is alcohol gel. Sure enough, it works. Burns nice and slow.
I am definitely gonna try hand sanitizer on Mesquite sap! This stuff is evil. It adheres and then shrinks as it dries, literally pulling up paint. It leaves big spots of primer showing through like rock chips, but bigger.
