Folks,
Here's the deal:
My wife just inherited a '08 Mustang, (V6, not GT) in primo shape. 608 miles...
The problem is this: The car is in FL and we live in CO. Neither of us, nor the kids want the car for personal use.
If the retail for the car is $14k, what can we expect if we try to sell it to one of the local FL Ford dealers?
Is there an easy way to get decent bucks for the car and bypass the Cars.com and Craigslist methods? Ebay?
A roadtrip to retrieve the car with stops on the Gulf coast and Nawlins would be fun, but would still leave us the task of selling the car here.
Does anyone have experience with this type of situation?
TIA,
Rog
Call a bunch of Ford dealers in the area and see what kind of prices you get. Try some used car lots in the "good" part of town too.
Do you need the money? If no then donate it! If yes then I would talk to the selling dealer and see what they will give for it.
Also I will make the first GRM offer of $100.00 ;)

Put a bowling ball and some gold chains in it to help resale-oh wait that would be a trans am... nevermind.
They should have carmaxs out there, easiest way.
...............insurance............<-----I did not type this......
I have no idea.......
eBay might get you better than the dealer would pay you.
Sell it now, before the depreciation really hits. When the '11s hit the dealerships with the new engines, '05-'10s are probably going to drop a couple grand overnight.
Classified are right over there on the menu
