There was F1 in Monaco. V8 Australian Touring Cars. Indy 500. Coca Cola 600 and me working on the old SAAB Turbo. My favorite by far was the V8 Touring cars. Man is that how motorsports should be! Working on the old convert was a close second.

I only watched Monaco, so I guess that was my favorite. I only watch NASCAR road races and don't watch Indy cars. I need to set the DVR to record the V8 Touring Cars. As it is, I only watch them when I come across them. They are always entertaining races.

What did you do to the Saab? I'm planning on oil changes today on the Miata and Mini. Nothing too exciting.

This is a mistake. This year's Indy 500 was excellent, and each road/street race before it had value. I'm glad I watched it. It was almost better than Monaco.

The Indy 500 set a new record for lead changes. But my favorite was the Pirelli World Challenge races on NBCSports last night.

I watched Monaco, Indy, and Charlotte. Indy wins, no question.

I hate to say it with all the IRL, CART, etc bs but the Indy 500 may have truly been the best of all time. It didnt appear that there was any cruising time the entire lap for the leaders and contenders. F1 was exciting but with no passing, it got to be somewhat boring. NASCAR was horrible.

The Argentina WRC rally was this weekend as well. Pretty good stuff, with several drivers pushing hard at unseating Loeb from the throne. I also watched the World of Outlaws and some Pro Buggy Unlimited racing that were quite entertaining.

Dang, I missed some good stuff! As for the SAAB, I bought a 137K mile 88 Turbo Convertible 5 speed as a parts car. Was told that it did not drive. Found out that it does run and drive! (YES!) So My Sons and I cleaned years of dust and dirt. If you squint real hard it looks like new. Needs a top, PS pump,a little body work and some other stuff but it may no longer be a parts car.
