Wow, people are getting so entitled these days. Dude, you didn't check the tires to make sure you got the right size, like they recommend. You didn't keep a record of your order. You mounted tires against their policy. You waited a full year before you tried to fit them. Nobody has a return policy past 90 days! You can't prove that you didn't put a year of driving on other tires, or drive 3 miles and get in a horrible accident that totaled the car but didn't scratch the tires. Then you expect a small E-bay retailer to keep records back a year AND send you a free set of rims? I'm with the company on this one, they are not doing anything out of the ordinary for a smaller retailer. IMO, you are trying to give someone a bad name for mistakes you made.

Man, when did this site become the Consumerist? If this guy created an account to promote his business we'd canoe him, why wouldn't we do the same here?

I grew up in the tire/wheel industry. You mount a tire on a wheel and it's yours, period. Mounting/dismounting a tire from a wheel 99.99% of the time will damage the wheel in some way and render it unsellable as new. You should have test fit the wheel when you got it, and before mounting the tire on it. You learned a lesson now, so all you can do is move on. I really don't see how the seller did anything wrong more than sub-par customer service.
