I am looking into upgrading from 225/50/14 hoosier A6's to the 275/35/15's. I am having trouble finding the right wheels that would work for this without having them custom made. I see there are some miata options out there in 15x9's but I dont know what offset would be needed. Using spacers would be ok, anyone have any ideas of what works?
Thanks!
Spacers are touch, because the 6UL wheels in 15x9 would need something like a 35mm spacer to work. I believe you want right around ET0 for a 15x9 on an E30, though I'd have to double check.
So you'd actually need 4x100 -> 4x100 bolt on type adapters.
There are a few threads on r3vlimited.com and e30tech.com if you're willing ot search around a bit.

Buy ones over offset, say -10 and have em milled down? Might actually be easier that way.

This thread may give you some ideas:

(nutshell: he converted to E36 5-lug hubs so as to stay within Challenge budget and use some cheap 15x10 wheels he found)
If cost is not a factor, I'd assume you'll have to go with one of the custom wheel vendors.

15x8 0 offset Sportmax 002's?
They are cheap
15x8 et20 clears the strut perfectly, so you'd need 15x9et7 or 15x10et-5 to have the same clearance.
I am installing 275/40r17 RT615s on a XX XXXXXX with 17x9 Drag DR31 from the Discount Tire. To keep my inner backspacing proper I went from a 17x7.5" +35mm wheel to a 17x9" +17mm wheel I am exactly the same inboard and 1.5" wider outboard.
Diamond Racing Wheels.
Light, cheap and powdercoated.

True, but some additional clearance will be needed since the 275 is going to bulge a bit on the 9" wheel, right?

I didn't think those were really that light...
