Saw a few parts cleaning units using water based solvents and grease eating additives as a safer cleaner way to handle dirty parts. Looked interesting but not sure how well it actually works. Anyone try these?

From what I HEAR, the businesses that use a service to maintain the parts washer seem to get much better results than Joe Blow who doesn't use a service.

EDIT: I am talking about biodegradable. I have no knowledge about the bio-remedial stuff.

They work okay, not great. It definitely doesn't work as good as a solvent based cleaner or the more aggressive water based cleaners. They need to be used as a whole system.
