Yes I did. Well, I didn't actually bight the bullet, because that would have cracked my teeth.
I pick it up tonight. It's for my son Brad. It's a 2001 in black (yeah, I know) with 59k miles on it. I also recently bought a '99 Miata in black for my other son Steve, and picked up a 2008 Silverado 2500HD 2WD (with LSD) reg cab long bed work truck while I was visiting friends in Nashville. So now I have 11 vehicles, which is too many. So my 78 chevy is for sale, as well as my 2000 Sierra, and maybe, possibly, eventually my '88 CRX. That'll get me down to a much more manageable 8 or 9 vehicles. I haven't taken pics of any of them yet, but will very soon.

The term banhammer began as a satirical term for the power wielded by an administrator to ban or block users of internet forums
Congrats!
My mom's boyfriend (at the time) bought her a 2001 Bullitt when she finished her degree. Cool cars!
(I'm starting to consider saving for a 2015/16 Mustang GT purchase)

I could never figure out why they made anything but green, but what do I know. I wasn't really hunting for a bullitt, and then this one just fell in my lap. Normally I like black more than green, but in this case I'd rather have green. Nevertheless, black is fine.
I've built a 2015 GT with track package on the furd site just about 10 times now. I can't make it any cheaper than $37k.
I can't quite wrap my head around that but damn if they aren't offering some sweet deals on the outgoing models.
I would So rock a Bullitt looking car with a 302 (or whatever v8 makes that sex noise they have) and track pack.
Must stop looking at cars.
I so want to find someone with a Bullitt Mustang and start following them with my Charger.
Hmmm You know that could be an interesting video. Remake the original Bullitt chase scene using a modern Mustang and Charger and have a new green Bug constantly in the shots. I am easily entertained.

I think that's been done within the past year or so. Sorry, don't have a link. But if you look on youtube for Alcatraz bullit chase remake you might find it.

Don't give Hollywood any ideas. They'll have Shia Labaeiouandsometimesyf playing the McQueen role.

Same here.
In fact, I just got through building one again.
Base. Performance pack. Recaros.
If it's anything like my '13 Track Pack car, you should be able to get one $2500-3000 off MSRP. If so, that's A LOT of car for $34,000

Once the hype dies down you never have to pay MSRP for a regular Ford and a Mustang is as regular as they come.
I'm jealous! This is close as I'll be coming for a few years!

Wow, you look a lot like that actor that used to do those motorcycle and car movies. You know, the guy that was like the definition of cool and died way too young? Damn, what was his name? Idunno, but dude, you look just like him!
BTW, nice burnout. Where did you find a RWD soccer van? Hope you knew the coast was clear ahead...
I had a a 2001 black Bullitt!! I really liked that car, despite the lack of maintenance performed by the previous owner. Hands down the best handling factory SN95/fox-4 chassis car, and the seats actually hold you. Just be warned, there are at least twice as many unique parts to the Bullitt as you think there are. Many aren't being reproduced. Watch out for those mudflaps behind the front tires, they came factory equipped with speed bump magnets. It's a real thing...
