Here is my father's car Circa 1982.
I am not sure of the year of the car, I just remember that is made me E36 M3 my pants.
I found the pic reciently during a photo archiving/scanning project this weekend.
And it reminded be of the "Dead Milkmen" song "Bitchin' Camaro"
Looks like a 74-77. I like the station wagon behind it too.

the station wagon had a 400 with a quadrajet carb. Towing package so lower gears. That thing hauled ass too.

Bitchin'.
And so is this one: http://bringatrailer.com/2010/02/01/preservation-piece-1970-chevy-camaro-ss-350/
It's not a '74 because it's got the big back window. Too much chrome on the bumpers to be a '77 or later. So it's a '75 or '76. Per image searching on Google and what I know of these cars anyway. I think the 2nd gen was about as good as the F-body got, it's too bad that GM's styling and engineering groups couldn't have worked harder to package the stronger bumpers and such in a more attractive package, the bumper that came along in '74 on the Camaro is like drawing a mustache on the Mona Lisa.

YEs! Notice also that the exhaust ends right at the Glass Pack.

Just ran over your neighbors, now its all over the papers. Classic, just classic.
It needs a licence plate that says 'The Brad' similar to a TV commercial from a few years ago.

I am trying to figure out the graphic on the b pillar?
In High School (1983) I briefly had a '76 LT type with 305 automatic. Blue exterior, white half (front half) vinyl top, white interior with unique red.white, blue weaved vinyl seat insets. Sort of a unique interior for the Bicentennial.

Just some pin stripping. notice there is some over the front wheel well, but none over the rear wheel well.
That's what high school looked like in the early 80's.
did he drive it up from the Bahamas?
<--- Wants a 70-73 split bumper real bad.

I am now checking youtube for the video.
as a former mullet wearer and Camao owner, I approve this message
I learned to drive on a 71 formula firebird.... so I have a soft spot for that generation of Fbody
First car was a '78 Camaro black on black. I still miss that car, thanks for sharing the pics with us.
2nd gen content - I had to stick my nose in here...

I asked my dad about the car:
"that was a '77, high performance 350 w/4speed"
It had a few tweeks as well.

A 1977 Chevy 'high performance 350' would be worth about 170-190 hp, right? ;)
In class, next time we are chatting about oxymoronic phrases, I will use that one, "...high performance, 1977 Chevrolet..."
Sorry, I had to go there, still a bitchin camaro. Only outdone by the Firechicken T/A also found in High School lots from the same era. Usually seen 'starting' with a drinking straw holding open the butterfly valve on the carb. Good times.
