Never seen one of these before. Were they Europe only?
I see a little red X in a box, I think those are available all over the world...
2002Touring? never seen one stateside.
me either.. I have seen pictures of them from other countries.. but never the US.. I would love one to park next to my TI
i got to drive a SUPER clean one with roughly 40k miles on it IIRC. really nice guy brought it in when i worked at the bmw garage for a full bill of health. only one ive ever seen.
I saw a couple of them at Watkins Glen a couple of years ago. They were not officially imported here, but a number have been brought over.
That's the second time this week that I've seen a car with those wheels. Anybody know what kind they are?
I'm guessing maybe ATS?

Interesting. I actually checked to make sure it was there after posting. Might have been too racy for this site?
The other pic is actually better than mine. I think it is kind of ugly from the side. Rare, but ugly.
Look like Cromodoras
I'm pretty sure that's what they are. My friend down the street has them on his '02 & IIRC that's what he said his are.
ATS
Look at the pictures. The insets in the spokes are deeper and have a ridge at the outer end on the ATS the Chromodoras are shallower and have no ridge and the bolt circle area has a slightly different pattern. The ATS is a closer match to the wheels on the BMW The porsche wheels are a bit different than either one, the "spokes" sit flush with the rim rather than overlapping the outside.
