Looking for a potential daily/project when I pass down my Yukon.

Does anyone know the first year of three-across 3-point belts in the back seat?

I'll have certain though rare 5 passenger moments and I'm a safety first type.

So since the start of the E39 run in '95?

I wouldn't be going older than the E39 but I wanted to be sure they didn't start mid-way through or late in the series.

I had wondered the same for my next truck and found 2008 was about when crew-cabs started with three 3-points in the back.

My dad's E34 M5 had them. Not sure about all E34s, but I'd assume they'd be the same.

It seems like most of the European companies were ahead of the curve with rear shoulder belts. My 1985 E28 has them!
