I am looking for suggestions on BMW & MINI Coding Apps. I have a 2017 Cooper S and I need to replace the 12v battery. I hear this involves some coding to get things right. I'll also be adding a new set of wheels and TPMS sensors if it is needed for that. The ability to peek inside the ECU and customize things has my interest as well.  I looks into this briefly before picking up the car, but this is the first time I've needed it for anything.

You need to "register" the battery. BimmeLink app will do it, as will a Foxwell/Schwaben scanner.

As for coding, you can use the BimmerCode app.

For the apps, I use a Veepeak bluetooth adaptor.
