looking for some things for my 135 in Dayton area is Rennie Bryant in Daytona or Palm Beach?
Rennie owns Redline BMW in Pompano Beach:

For BMW service / advice in the Daytona area, talk with Mike Wilson who owns Wilson's BMW: http://www.angieslist.com/companylist/us/fl/daytona-beach/wilson-bimmer-repair-reviews-6286281.htm
Mike is a very nice-- straightforward guy with reasonable rates. He's my go-to here in Daytona if there is something I'd rather not tackle with my BMW. Of course Rennie is "The Man" in South Florida.
Rennie is also a better guy to speak with regarding racing / performance mods. Mike is more of a service / repair / installation facility.
If you speak with either of them--- tell them you read GRM-- it's the secret password!
I am looking for a removable harness bar for my 135is convertible for track days. Also for some custom paint work. thanks doug
Doug---- you'd probably be best off buying the bar from a known vendor--- like Bimmerworld or Bavarian Autosport.

If you are in the Daytona area and need custom paint work--- speak with Tom Prescott at Bodywerks:

Make sure you let Tom know you are a GRM reader--- we've driven LeMons races with him--- great guy!
thanks Joe but I have already been to all the venders plus the ones you chose and to my regret have not found a harness bar at any. As you know staying in the seat is an issue in your street car on a track day. A few years back there was a painter out on 92 toward Deland who did great gost flames I know the the bmw people would have a fit but they also did when my wheels went from silver to red, the hart wants what the hart wants, do you know the guy I am thinking about. I am in St. Augustine but the car is from Field's.
