We've all read those countless paint and body work articles dealing with body filler and dents. I've had luck on flat panels to good success.
But what about curves? What about character lines? I'm working on a teardrop motorcycle tank that has the compound curve top and bottom, separated by a straight 1" band around the middle. Of course there's a dent right across the lines. You can kind of see the lines bellow the badging anchor on this stock tank.
How can I preserve this line? I've got some ideas on what to do, but I'd like some suggestions as well.
