Does anyone here know where to find a cheap fuel pressure tester for the Bosch CIS fuel injection system. I know I can buy one new for 120$ but was curious if anyone out there know of a cheaper solution. Or if anyone has sworn off CIS and wants to sell a pressure tester let me know.
Thanks folks and nice night!

I got mine 15 or so years ago from JC Whitney based on the recommendation of an early internet forum dedicated to VW Rabbits. Despite being from JCW, it's actually really good quality and seems to be very accurate. Sorry, but I still need mine. Maybe they still sell 'em. Have you got a symptom that makes you suspect a system or control pressure issue?
I think this is the link

So the cheap hoffman injection tester is still available, great. 57$ sure beats 120$, thank you Dean.
Basically a fuel pressure tester is the only way to diagnose and troubleshoot the CIS fuel injection system. Every component depends on proper fuel pressure and for the pressure to hold when warm. My car has a little hot start issue I think might be either a leaky injector or bunged up fuel pressure regulator and the only way to tell is to test the pressure and pressure drop when warm. The reason people hate CIS is they don't have the proper tools or knowledge to repair it and think the Bosch is to blame. You won't get anywhere fast blindly replacing component as the parts are all pretty expensive.
