Bought 3 Mirais today

With the incredible sale toyota is running, bought 3 Mirais today 

taking this home. They delivering the other 2. 
 

one will be sold going to Phoenix and other to Austin

Interesting. I've been curious about those for some time as a former/future Toyota employee. Hydrogen always seemed like a good answer to me and my limited and uneducated understanding. 

Wish we could get those out here.

Yes 2 going outside. 10k profit per car to me

Holy cow. So: 51k for the car. Toyota gives you 20k rebate if you buy using their 0% for 72 mo loan. Feds give you $8k. Ca gives you 4500. Toyota gives you six years of free fuel up to $15k worth. 
 

net purchase price: $18.5. Minus the $15k in fuel and it's a $3500 car? With HOV lane benefits!?! It's almost challenge priced. 
 

so if mr mr2s2000elise sells for 30k (a steal to any out of state buyer) he nets $10k each. Nice work. 
 

the question is- did you give yourself the referral bonus? 

My employer (Squaw Valley Ski Corp) has one as a company vehicle. I'd never seen one before being from the right coast so I had no CLUE what I was looking at. Very interested in Hydrogen.

You don't get to just pour this stuff in like gasoline. You have to fill that tank to something like 700 bar. It's going to be a heck of a DIY project.

No clue. Didn't ask. But the TX customer asked for 3 more this morning. He wants all white.  That will be  total 4. They will live in his business between Lubbock and Amarillo he said. 

My dealer (Longo) wont sell me more. So I will order through a different dealer this morning (when they open in 3 hours) in my wife's name.

There is also a Toyota loyal bonus. I bought a 2021 Tacoma (in the background) of the pics, and I have a LC200 new in the fleet, so with the loyalty bonus, car's price is cheaper than what you quoted. 

I am just doing a quick volume. 10 cars max. Yes out of state buyer is incredibly excited and happy with the deal. 

Profit wise, my bonus, on top of the cash outlay, is I get to keep all the tax credits, as original owner, AND I am getting 21 free rental days per car, that stays with me. 126 free rental car days :)

As I said, if photos worked, would line them up here at home, and post. If anybody can post pics, PM through the forum, and I will send them. 

I sent to two GRM members via text, NEITHER (on both coasts) able to upload any photos. 

Back in 2018/2019 Toyota did a similar deal. I had a friend who did 20 cars and made a quick profit. I was out of the country and couldn't capitalize. 

Car is slow! Feels slower than my POS CT200H I had back in 2013. Full throttle on the onramp is a joke. However, due to it being Lexus LS based, incredibly smooth and quiet, unlike the garbage CT

FYI, looks like these are roughly 175 hp and 4200 lbs. Since they're basically EVs with an onboard generator, they should be pretty quiet.

I think I know the customer in the middle of TX. They make their own Hydrogen so getting fuel is not an issues for them if it's who I'm thinking of.
