I'm looking to buy back my old white XR2 and use it as parts. Its got the hardtop, rollbar, bodykit, and the AC Line I need to fix my cars AC. The other car I sold with my white XR2 was a '91 XR2 (Long Nose Crank) Red one that I sold my '87 X1/9 to finance the rebuild of the engine in, of which consisted of a full engine rebuild with Felpro gaskets, Clevite Bearings, Waterpump, Clutch and Axles NEW OEM Turbo, Manifold with 500 miles on it (uncracked) and Total Seal Gapless Rings. It lasted 27 miles til the oil return line ruptured and cooked the rod bearings. I'll take the 2 engines to make one good one and add a new gasket kit for good measure and belts again. maybe port the head for a lil extra flow, mx6/ebay intercooler, a Chip an turn the boost up @13-15 with an HKS EVC. Maybe later toss on some new struts and H&r springs. should = fun daily and a a$$ load of spares for the things that break.

The Capri's are very unique, the sheetmetal is lousy and very thin but as far as mechanics wise, they are tanks!!! I <3 em. Plus its somethin I'm familiar with and the local ford dealership had 2 shop manuals and gave me a brand new one in the wrapper for free. doesn't get much better than that!
