I can't find brake pads that last more than 2 weekends of HPDE for my '14 Boxster. I tried EBC Yellow Stuff, but they lasted no longer than the OEMs. They make Orange Stuff that they tout for more aggressive track use, but not for my fronts. I know there are Pagid yellows that cost about 3 times as much but they appear to be the same as the EBC yellows. Because the fronts are a major pain to change out, I need to use something that I can use on the street, too (squeaking is no problem).
Any suggestions will be most appreciated.
Carbotech will make you some enduro pads …
FWIW, the front pads on my CRX (at CMP) will only last 1 weekend (Hawk DTC 60's ..race pads) … they're fine for a couple of months of street and autoX …but I wouldn't get through Sat if I tried to go back to the track
We've had pretty good luck with Porterfield R4Es. We got two 14 hour enduros out of a set.
A brake vent system will help with any type of pads.
Hawk HP+ pads lasted a long time on my ZX2SR.
And they got worked hard.
Yup, my first question was "what's your brake cooling look like?"
Carbotec Enduro pads. They wear very well I have several track days on the ones on my B13 and they still have plenty of life left.
and keep in mind the track where you're running … some tracks are harder on pads than others …
at CMP I can get one weekend … at Road Atlanta, VIR … at least 2 … maybe 3
I will second the Porterfield recommendation.

Can different types/brands of rotors help with pad life?
Another vote for Hawk HP+. They get worked hard on my 3000 pound Cobalt SS and do just fine on the street. They are very durable. Excellent pad.

not much … I use el-cheapO parts store Chinese cast iron … carry an extra set for each weekend …
slotted and drilled … spend the money if you want … not much (if any) gain for the price
Drilled and slotted rotors will likely crack sooner and I believe that they can also cause slightly increased pad wear. EBC Yellows suck.
Maybe try the new Hawk Street/Race pads.

Carbotech XP12s are more than enough. You probably will want to swap them out for street use though. When they're cold on the street, you'll scrub off your transfer layer after 100miles or so and then they'll be really noisy and eat your rotors.
There are compromised pads from other mfgs that you can use for both street and track, but you don't get the best of any world: short life with frequent track use, dust like a race pad, yet don't give you the bite and modulation of a race pad. I have driven Lemons on HP+, which I would put in this category. They were predictable and worked well, but one race and they're shot. I've used XP12s on our Lemons car and they just won't give up. Probably going to get 4 races out of them.
I keep a set of XP12s for HPDEs for the 330i swap/bed them in, do the HPDE, drive them a couple days after on the street until they scrub the rotors. Afterward, switch back to quiet, lower-dust street pads and re-bed them.

I balance that by re-bedding on a regular basis … I drive the car to and from autoX events and, of course at the autoX's
if it's been a long time since bedding, I'll redo … and, of course I bed when I put on new pads for the next track weekend
