I feel stupid even asking this question, but here goes. If the motorhome is built on a Ford E450 at the front, does that mean all I have to do is order rotors and pads for an E450 econoline? What about the dualies on the back? Same thing? Do the coach builders ever change this stuff? Looks like just about every auto parts store around here has pads for E450 front and rear in stock as well as front rotors, but rear rotors have to be ordered. Later today I'm going to give it a shot on my friends motorhome. How much harder can it be than it is on my SRW F350? Right? Never even changed a tire on a dually. Whats a fair price? She was quoted $600 per axle if it only needed pads by the local tire store chain. More if it needs rotors. Front pads and rotors come in at under $275, and a little more for the rears. Seems like a little gouging is going on .

Generally coach builder (well good ones) will order the chassis with the biggest brakes for that model. So yes parts store parts will work fine if you take a look at what she's got 1st.

Thanks Tony. Plan is to pull it apart this afternoon and place an internet order with autozone to get the discount. Then go down and pick up the parts. Have to go out and do my real job for a few hours this morning.
