I have been driving the car for about a week now and have to say, its not a bad place to spend time. I am really enjoying the simplicity of it, also the noises coming from the tailpipes are really good.
Doesn’t it sound good? Our neighbor came over to pass along a similar compliment.
This might have also been when the air filter was disconnected. (Yay, cars worked on by others....)

With that wording, even a bonded metal-rubber (reuseable) cover gasket would seem to be not allowed since it's not "essentially identical".
Sadly, they put the all important "comfort and convenience" specifically in bodywork and interior.
Also, as a new class/concept, the rules might evolve in the near future.
CSM attracted a pretty healthy field at last year’s Solo Nats, so we feel that there is suitable interest in the class. I’m eager to be a part of it.
I'm curious to see what clutches come out of your stock LSD, history shows very little consistency as to if an S197 comes with carbon clutches or not out of the factory. Very tempted to pull mine apart to see, it came out of the car at 28k miles and have never been changed.

We do know that our stock clutches have lost most of their clutching ability.

After looking at the rule set it appears I've built a Club Sport Foxbody Mustang. LOL
In reply to Tom1200 :
See, you’re ahead of the curve. Very much looking forward to driving this one.

Having now done several autocrosses in mine I understand why people love Mustangs.
