I was wondering if anyone here has used Formula V and if so did you have any luck making old slicks/ comp tires soft again, one set are Hoho's and the other are Proxes both sets have tread and no major damage? I have heard about Formula V but was not sure if it was snake oil and how much is required per tire.  Just wanted to ask before I bought the softer or just buy tires.

Thanks, Paul B

I've never heard of Formula V, but as a drag racer I've used VHT and burnouts to bring plenty of traction back to drag tires.

I used it on v710s years back. It works, apply generously and frequently leading up to the event. The goodness will only last a few runs, then go off.

If the proxies see any street miles I wouldn't bother on them.
