Valve stem on the TPMS seized up, sourced a replacement via ebay.
During the install process this little metal dealie broke off.
Any reason not to hit it with the ol' soldering iron?
(assuming I can find my soldering iron, but that's neither here nor there)
Would really rather not shell out for a 5th cloned TPMS sensor, yay Mitsu.

In reply to SnowMongoose: It should work fine, I know we've just pinched them under the stem in the past even just to make contact and it still functioned fine.

Paying to have someone spend five minutes popping the bead and installing a new sensor after the solder doesn't hold up to rotational forces.
As opposed to biting the bullet now and having a fresh sensor installed.

I'd be looking into getting a big long worm clamp like some Fords have. Clamp that sucker in. That is assuming that cyanoacrylate won't hold it in.
