in 1979 our neighbors brought home a car just like this..
I own a brown Lambo with tan interior, so I like it (the gold lettering on the side was not my doing but it's painted on so I haven't removed it yet).

Holy crap, that's great. So perfectly "of an era." I would never paint that lettering on the car but also would not remove it. Some part of me loves it. Must be from seeing cars like that in magazines as a kid.

Sort of offtopic, but this is possible the most "cab aft" design I've seen this side of a Morgan in a VERY long time. Oh, and those scary "Excalibur" things.
I had an 86.5 Supra that was two-tone brown. I loved that car. I've only seen one other in that color combo. I can't even find a pic to hotlink. Edit: here's one.

Brown is an odd colour. Most paint trends seem to run in 10 year cycles. What you see popular today will be back around 2023ish.. Brown and Purple seem to run in much longer cycles. We are probably overdue for Brown to return
