I'd love to drop the $100 for RallyArmor, but don't have that kinda coin for spend on mudflaps right now. Anyone have any recommendations for more budget oriented ($20-$40), high durability mudflaps? Naked women and Yosimite Sam optional.

Try a truck salvage yard, you could probably cut all four out of just one of those flaps (trailers could work as well).
Strizzo beat me to it...flexible cutting boards.

Truckstop Yosemite Sam mudflaps would be hilarious on a rally car. That's my vote.
"Keep on Truckin" coutesy of Speedway motors

those ikea cutting boards are more flexible than even the rally armor basics (the universal basics are only $16 a set)
i used to have the ikea cutting boards, you know, for cutting stuff. i have the rally armor basics now and they are just as thin, sturdier than the cutting boards. and you dont have to buy muliple sets to get a set of 4 flaps of the same color.
I had oem splash guards that didnt guard anything, so i got the rally armors to use in the winter with salt and sand on the roads.
I have the rally armor basics on my WRX, they are worth it, pretty cheap.

Go to a truck stop and buy a pair of big rig flaps and cut them down. $20 a pair usually and much more durable than the rally armors.
I'll agree with thte truck mudflaps. Thats what I made the ones on the rear of my legacy out of.
As I understand, the cutting board ones tend to be a little fragile, especially in colder weather.
Thanks all... lots and lots of good options, especially:

BTW, is that for a pair?
Anyway, after reading all of these, I can't believe I was having any difficulty thinking of alternatives between cheap rubbery crap ones and the expensive RallyArmor versions.
That's for all 4. Killer deal! No mounting hardware though but that shouldn't be a problem for people like us.
the Rally Armor basics are what I'm using on my rallycross car. They're like $20 for a set of 4. Nothing fancy, but they do the trick. As noted above, yo uhave to cut to fit and provide your own hardware though.
I have the UR's on my WRX, and they're still mint after 3 years of abuse.

I use these stack two high as turn plates when setting caster.
I've had the cheap Rally Armor ones on the Hun-die for over a year with no complaints...though if they were to offer a set with Yosemite Sam I'd totally upgrade!

Whoa! I think we have a winner... though I do have to make a trip to Ikea soon. Hmmm....
I paid around $20 per pair for these.took a rattle can of black paint and covered up the red dodge logo that was on em when i bought em.
I've saw quite a few rally cars with the IKEA mudflaps at the 2010 New England Forest Rally. If I ever bought a rally/rallycross beater, then I'd probably be rocking them too!
I have the expensive Rally Armor UR mudflaps on my Speed3. I can vouch for them being indestructible. I accidentally backed into a curb once, which pinched one of the rear flaps between the tire and the curb and tore it off (no damage to the car). I came back later in the night to pick it up and, aside from a slightly scratched-off Rally Armor logo, the flap was completely undamaged. No tears or anything.
