One of the good things about Florida is that it is usually good weather to paint parts.  I generally try to cure them afterwards which means a gentle heat (relative to what the parts can take, I've burnt my fingers a time or two)

I've seen people put a heat gun into a box, or even just a box with a drop light or two inside with 60W bulbs.  Being a FloridaMan, I was thinking of using the sun.  I'm thinking an open 3 or 4 sided box (floor, left back, or floor, left, right, back,) with the inside painted black, 18"x18" per side.

I'm wondering about material, whether or not I should go with metal sheet or plywood.  Metal would absorb heat quicker, but plywood is cheaper.

Anyone have any thoughts?  Ways to improve it?
