From Cars N Coffee yesterday.

Note the functional air filter in the scoop. No way that was not professionally installed.
Also, note that it is parked beside a C7 with an R8 Spyder in the background. Edit: Not to mention this guy was trolling the parking lot revving the crap out of it every time he stopped.

It's stupid and I HATE it. NOBODY should be allowed to do that to a car!! This isn't a hobby, it's a lifestyle and that should not be allowed. And since you like it, you will be banned from this forum! BANNED YOU HEAR ME?!?!

You can talk, with your denial of all things ute you are not in a position to speak
^^ I remember that thing...something about how the guy daily-drives it and just generally treats it like it's an old Camry.....

Yep. I see it from time to time near where I work. He definitely daily drives it. I can't wait for spring... The local Italians forum come out to cars and coffee either April or May, and there are 4-5 Countaches including this one.
Saw the cardboard box O'racecar on Saturday in Cary as well, had a good chuckle.
What was hardcore however was the guy who drove his Shelby Cobra Replica an hour in the 20* temperature, with no top and no heat to get to C&C. And yes, he built it :)

Take my comment to Logdog and apply it to you and that 'ute picture, but without the sarcasm

logdog for president!
I scoff at "built not bought" after seeing all the stuff people do on here. Some people have the audacity to apply that label to cars made entirely from off-the-shelf parts...and intended for the model of car they're working on at that!
I think we should have a cardboard and masking tape add on competition. See who can come up with the best "mods" using only these two items. No duct tape or crazy glue allowed as these constitute permanent fix's in some circles

You need to include Popsicle sticks for structural integrity

The turnout in Cary is usually pretty good, the lot was full last weekend and it was 20* out. They do it the first Saturday of each month, shoot me a PM if you'd like for details, I am all for meeting up with GRMers
