Buying Quickrelease splines without buying a whole quick release?

My google skills have come up short (I probably don't know the right word combo). Is there a way to purchase the spline shaft without the aluminum quick release? 

I have this one:

I was trying to find a spline shaft so I can share my wheel between my race cars.

Anyone done that?

 not sure how much shaft you need but the whole thing can be bought at Speedway Motors.  Hope this is the question.
