I just got back from the liquor store (hopefully celebrating wife's passing of 3rd and final ultrasonography board exam), and I saw this Cadillac CTS Wagon. I'm not sure if I like it or not, but I think I do.

A few weeks ago, I saw this 2010 Mustang in my neighborhood. The pic didn't come out too well, but it was a GT350 or something. Notice the rear wing.

The badge said 3.6. I hope Obama doesn't axe the CTS-V-Wagon.

2010 Mustang - front is better, rear is worse.

I don't think a CTS-V Wagon was ever planned. MT had a short article about upcoming cars that mentioned the CTS wagon and they didn't mention a -V variant.

I think the huge c pillar makes it look unbalanced.

Not sure i like that CTS wagon...though i have to say i like wagons alot more than suv's (e63 wagon anyone?) but the back end on that one just looks a little wierd.

I saw the '10 mustang for the first time in person the other day. Pulled the guy over just to take a look at it (yea i know...im a dick) Love the interior updates and front end, and the back, although it looks better in person than it does in pictures it just looks fat. Still want one though...

My big issue with the styling on the CTS wagon is the continued arch of the door sill line. The continued upward angle works fine for a sedan, but it really should be lower in back for a wagon. I think that would also help the C-pillar issue.

I agree with tj- I'm no genius, but that just doesn't look right. Not in a fun party way either (see S54 powered e-coupe).

I love wagons so that is good for me even if it does look a little out of proportion from the side.

I'll wait till I see one in person to pass judgment on the CTS. I will say, however, that I really like the CTS sedan's re-style. I always look a second time when I see one. Good for Cadillac.

CTS wagon is neat, but I'm pretty sure that's going to only be for the Euro market. I seem to recall reading about it somewhere.

I doubt it would sell well Stateside.

While I do like wagons,a Cadillac CTS Wagon seems like the answer to a question no one has been asking. CTS Coupe concept photos looked like dynamite, this looks like manure, and seems like another misguided attempt at getting European customers to reconsider the brand. Which I don't think is going to help that at all.

It's about time some decent wagons came available so we can phase out the gas guzzling unnecessary overweight SUVs that carry 3 kids to school on Monday. A Cady wagon still lets Mom look cool in the 3pm pick up line.

If the Mustang wasn't a fake, it would've had to have been a GT500.

I've got mixed feelings on the CTS-Wagon. It has wagon coolness, but without the -V, it reminds me way too much of the crappy V6 wagons of the 80's and less of the awesome V8 wagons of the '70s. The design seems much more reminiscent of the former as well.

Definitely wouldn't buy one new.

With 300hp, it's not as craptastic as 1980s and late 1970s wagons. I personally like the look. If I could get on as a -V, that would be ideal. If not, I'd take a manual and V6.

I, too, love the idea of the wagon with V trim...except for the part where the new Vs cost a metric asston. Still fantastic value, but a bit higher price point than I'll be able to hit for a while yet. Now, if you could get the former V trim, that is, the LS6/LS2 (400 hp, NA) then I think it'd be a fun in-between, about half of a V but in wagon trim. I can see the naming scheme now...CTW-V/2

I don't think the wagon looks quite as sexy as the sedan, but I'm a sucker for wagons. Half of my fleet is wagons. Oh yeah, and mine would have to be a manual also...every single vehicle in my fleet is a standard manual transmission.
