Yuck. They ruined the front end of this car. I just passed one today, and the entire time I was saying to myself "what kind of car is this? It's hideous." I was shocked to find out that it was a Camaro

I liked the 5th-gen when it came out, because it was evocative of the old cars but still modern looking, not a near line-for-line copy of the old version like its competitors. The early 6th-gen to me was a 5th-gen with the aggressiveness cranked to 11, which I liked. The ZL1 1LE didn't just look like it could rip your face off, it looked like it was on its way to do it in front of your wife and children. The new front end styling is just muddled and weird and has clearly been a bomb, since sales have fallen behind the Challenger. I like the taillights, and its still a damn capable car, but, yikes, that front end
In the minority, but I think this is the best it's looked since the reboot. "Best" being "the least ugly."
It looks a lot like the previous model, meh. Maybe if they fixed it so you could actually see out of the back/side windows enough to merge confidently, that would be good.
Apparently chevy has a thing for sideburns that creep in around the headlight. Seems to be on the new trucks too.
The Challenger is the best looking of the segment, but it's so HEAVY. The Ford is 2nd best looking and is the lightest. The Chevy is the ugliest by far with horrible visibility but it can be spec'd so awesomely.......

How many lengths did you lose to one by?
Not to get into it again with you, but.... A guy in my neighborhood drives a Lada. My (pre-facelift) Camaro SS lost countless lengths to it by being unavailable for use for ~50% of the 8 months I had it. :p
Don't you have a pre-facelift 6th gen? Surely you concede it looks much better?

Oops, I mean Lexus.
The new Accords are in early this year.
In fairness, the camaro always kinda been ugly in comparison to its competitors. 1st gen and early 2nd gen were good looking. Then early 5th gen. Otherwise, nope. IMHO, of course.

As a 3rd gen appologist, this is me right now.

It's funny because I was just telling my daughter over the weekend about how the 3rd gen is the only Camaro I would ever actually own. (she saw a 3g Firebird while we were stacking up behind-the-wheel practice hours, and remarked how much she liked it)
