Just put a deposit on a CPO 2012 128i for my fiance. So her current car will be up for sale soon. I have no idea what to price it for.

2003 Civic EX. 207k miles. 5spd manual. Some rocker rust. Original clutch about done (not slipping though). AC needs charging. Burns oil. Needs bushings and ball joints. A couple CEL codes. Black, power windows, sunroof. Everything works other than AC.

So, do we sell it, donate it? How much could we get for it in the real world (not for you cheapskates ).

Thanks!

Real world c list, I'd say 1500$. The cel, the mileage, the rust... That civic has had a hard life. Especially for a 2003. One good note is that most people that buy those have no idea what they are looking at. Upside? The ex has a more desirable engine. Downside? That chassis is junk. Nobody tunes those. (Except those ricer kids that live in the projects.)

Also- wtf?!?!? Get that cel fixed! It's probably a 50$ sensor that'll take ten minutes to put in. I know that, because it's a d17 series. Such an EZ engine.

Do a little TLC and you can ask more.

Hondas always bring more than I expect, regardless of condition. I'd probably CL it at $1900 and take any offer over $1500.

definitely list for around $2000. Take advantage of the Honda tax.

Not that it's too comparable, but I'm about to fly-n-buy a 1990 Integra - which is pretty much a Civic. It's 13 years older than your car, but has half the miles, is one-owner, and full service records from the Acura dealer.

It is a 5-speed sedan.

I'm paying $2500.
