On Nat Geo. I like it. Cool cars with realistic refurbishments.
Just wanted to share.
They actually showed how to stitch cast iron to make a cold repair to a cracked head. I have never actually seen it done. Really cool stuff

I was going to play GT6 but got sucked in to it and have been glued to the tv all night.

Same here, I was planning to run a practice race to check tire wear. I've really enjoyed this. Takes me back to all my years restoring cars - the highs and the lows.
I'm watching, too. Like Overhaulin', but with more interesting cars, less resto-modding, and a whole lot less Hollywood. I'm diggin' it.
Ok we have a winner in my book. I just hope the producers don't take any tips from overhauling and to some degree wheeler dealers. I like the low key presenters and the realistic repairs.
Some really cool stuff. I actually learned a couple of things.
I watched some of the shows on Sat. too. Enjoyed it! I also like the realistic restorations, nothing over the top. They did what needed to be done to get a good looking, good running car and legal for the road. Vehicle inspections in Europe are much tighter then in those states that do that in the US. It's scary knowing what condition some cars are in here in the US!
I DVR'd a couple of the episodes; the Cortina and the MG. I like what they did for the owners and the families. It's like they are honoring them and paying it forward for car guys.
I really enjoy the show.I have nat geo but for those that don't there's full episodes on youtube.I really liked the lotus elan episode.
Looks like the next episode will air 11/19 at 8pm Eastern time. Will go check out the Tube of You for older episodes.
It's like overhauling only less hokey, less extreme builds, less money spent, less man power but more interesting cars. I gave up on overhauling years ago when I got bored with their rotating selection of big 3 alphabet chassis. I have found a handful of episodes with cars worth watching although I hate the oval window on the 356.
