I have a bug with a single port 1600, which isn't currently drivable due to carb issues.  I have the stock intake, aircleaner, and related parts, but the carb has failed beyond repair (massive leak), and a complete Weber ICT kit that is currently installed but sticks so bad the car isn't drivable.  I have been fighting with the ICT kit pretty much since I put it on, and at this point the best thing to do with it would be to remove it and make it into as many small pieces as possible with a large hammer.  Other than maybe the intake manifolds, none of that is really usable either.  So, its to the point of either selling the car as a project that needs to be towed, or try something completely different to make it a usable car.  Does anyone have any recommendations?

A single port motor needs a 30 pict carb ,  or now often sold as a 30/31 pict ,

The 34 pict has a larger base and will not bolt on a single port manifold without an adapter ,

Not sure where you are but the best car is a 1967 carb which does not have any smog stuff..,..

Check on thesamba.com and see what they say about carbs available new now.....

Empi carbs made in China had a lot of problems , check to see if they are fixed yet....
