Carb rebuild info?

Anyone happen to have the schematic for a Holley 1904 1bbl carb? I am rebuilding mine that goes on the International. Just wondering what all I'm getting myself into.

One barrel carb can't be much simpler. get a rebuild kit, it should have all the specs you need.

Yep. Decent kit will have an exploded diagram and all the specs you need.

there's probably about 5 screws in the whole carb... and a float... and a needle valve...

Is that the cool glass fuel bowl model? Even if not, there are few carbs easier to rebuild than a 1 bbl Holley.

Don't be scared yamaha! I was totally scared as I'd never worked on carbs at all, but one rebuild later, I know they are really very simple. Think of all the simple folk who've come before you and successfully rebuilt those things. You can do it.

As mentioned, even the meanest rebuild kits have decent specs included.

before rebuilding it, make sure you have tried hitting it in the side with a screwdriver... that will fix most problems with old carbs..

You'll want either a rubber tipped air hose or a can of compressed air to blow out all the little passages.

I rebuilt a Holley 1902 when I was 18 and had almost no experience working on cars. I just used the directions in a kit from NAPA and a bucket of carb cleaner. It was pretty straightforward.
