So my wife is absolutely in love with the hellcat. I am not so in love with the size of the hellcat. Help me find something that is close that we can both live with. Black key levels of power are acceptable. She really likes the shaker hood 392 as well.
She wants in her words a bad guy car this time. Two door, huge power, automatic (This is a first for her) and sinister. We buy used.
The hellcat is way to big for her to use daily in La Jolla so thinking
ATS-V
Jaguar Type-R
Anything else that I am missing these seem to be the big two that fit what she wants. She has prejudices against BMW and will never own a Merc or I would find an older CLS63.

Dodge really has the market covered for bad guy cars...
Maybe call keith? An all black ndv8 would be bad for sure.

6th-gen Camaro ZL1 has 650 horsepower from a blown V8, cool 10-speed auto, is on the smaller Alpha chassis (Same as the Caddy ATS) and looks like it wants to rip your freakin' face off. Definitely a "bad guy" car.
Audi RS5?
I second buying an MX-5 RF and having Keith work it over.
CPO Aston Martin Rapide or Vantage GT if you want to get really absurd.
Evora 400? Since I already went down the $80k-ish Aston Martin path.
Dark Horse: V70 Polestar in Swedish Racing blue.
slightly older C63 coupe or sedan. They're sort of "right-sized"
ctsV coupe... or ATSV coupe...

This. The coupe is pretty gnarly looking.
I dont know yall budget but from what I've seen from you:
AMG GT (I know she will never own a Merc)
R8
F-Type R the V8 crackle is evil.
Black edition GTR?
CLK63 AMG + exhaust + Eurocharge tune (Again, I know she will never own a Merc)
This Aston Martin
If she can deal with 4 doors:
RS7 or CLS63 AMG in a dark color, total badassery.
Camaro ZL1 was the first thing that came to my mind.
I like the Jag idea. The best bad guys are always British, and they all drive Jags. At least according to Top Gear.
Thanks guys.
ZL1 and the RS5 are good candidates. ND or a lightning is not her bag of cats. Going shopping this weekend for her.
Maserati is top of the line IMO for bad guy car. Black on Black and you look like your still part of the mob

Not sure why the Hellcat is deemed "Too Big" People drive Pick-up trucks all the time and once you get used to the size ain't no big thing. I think in the rental car definition of things it would be a "Compact" car no?
The Hellcat scratches the itch so why not go for it?
While the ND swap from FM is a bit spendy for most of us due to the cost of a new ND, perhaps a well executed and proven NA or NB swapped Miata would take care of the "Lack of G-Force" blues.
Could we look at a late model Vette of any flavour?
Mustang makes something that might also work out of the box. Add the Henessy bit if you must.

What's more "Bad Guy" than randomly plowing into crowds of innocent people?

I can only assume, respectfully, that you are insane. Your wife wants a Hellcat? Buy the Hellcat!

That would be the part of the mob that sits in the waiting room of the service department at the Maserati dealer, I presume?

It can get pretty tight in La Jolla. I've been there a few times, first time in my f250. After that I learned my lesson lol

Yea I was driving around there in a rental Challenger when work sent me down a few times. It can get pretty tight so I can see the desire for something a bit more narrow.
Left field suggestion, murdered out detective special Crown Vic with a blower. Sinister, gets people out of the way on the highway, and old sheet metal shows you don't care about trading paint or parking in tight spaces.
Get her the car she wants. My wife dailies a charger, it’s not that big.

The downside to an old cop car is that everyone drives exactly on the limit on two-lane roads. Friend of mine has one, says it's a real pain in the butt.
Shelby gt350. Black with matte black racing stripes
