I agree. Head on, it's not bad. Even the front 3/4 view I posted isn't all that bad. But looking at it straight from the side, or a rear 3/4 view is terrible.
In other words, any angle where you can see that second set of doors.
I'd love to see a 2-(3?) door Panamera instead. Or maybe shortened just enough to give it the RX-8 door treatment.

Ok I was wondering what cars you think look amazing in pictures but when you see them in person don't look as good. My nominations are the Audi R8 and FRS/BRZ twins.
I think the opposite is true of the twins...........they look better in person than in pictures.

I don't see how this thing can be anything less than awesome in person! I want one! Although, I guess it does fall into the "so ugly it's cool" category...

I know of a "77 Ranchero like this sitting, "For Sale" in the exact same "baby poo brown" color. I have tried to talk myself into buying it twice. I just can't finish the buy, and leave.
It is not a relieved "good feeling", or a terrible "bad feeling", I leave with, but it kinda is like the awarked feeling you get when you have just stepped in poo.

Pretty much any vehicle that prescribes to the new high belt line design looks good in the photo because they use angles to hide the proportions but when you see one in a parking lot they look like a double decker sandwich.
The term you are after is fat girl angle shot.

Am I the only one that thinks it looks like a squashed-down FX35?

One of these started rolling around locally. Butterscotch colored. It's huge and pointy and beautiful.

This thing is bad enough in pictures, but in person it's downright fugly.
I find it looks better in person. Still not great, but better.
