I got this from a friend mainly for the Volvo 1800 content, but I agree with basically all of them:

I miss my Volvo 1800... I had 3, one succumbed to rust, one to an accident, and the last one was sold....
Now that I'm in IPDland... I'd love to mix my two passions... one part well tuned street Toyota 4AGE, and one part TASTEFULLY modifed Volvo 1800
Replace the VW Bus with the Integra and it's a great list!
I'd add (as the next 5) the Impala SS (nee G8 GXP), "affordable" Porsche (914/924/944), RX-7, Civic 3-door hatch, and MR2.

Only if it comes with a Cobra Assault Cannon in the trunk...
I did not see turbo manual forester on that list, nor did I see Isuzu Vehicross (I don't care if they were terrible. They're awesome), or a nissan 240, or a DSM, or big body v8 GMs of any way shape or form (Can't wait for an interceptor package caprice!). They mentioned the Comanche, but not the XJ. Station wagons in general. Large ones. Quit leaving estates to the Germans.
I really think Lincoln needs to do a high end luxobarge again, like the '60s Continentals. Not just a warmed over Fusion or Expedition.
I would buy a Ute if there was one. I dont do any big hauling, but its nice to have a bed for Home Depot trips or tailgating.
Well great, now I am off to CL to find an El Camino.
I would also like to see Buick bring back the GN. Maybe as a hard-top, turbo, rwd version of the riviera that they mentioned in the article.
Only a couple of those would grab my attention.
78 Bronco(rust free), Volvo 1800,
The rest meh
I have a Ranchero.
I see no need to ever have the VW microbus revived.
OTOH I would love to see the Ford Falcon brought back to the US market, and a neo-Bronco like the concept in the pic would be nice too. And they definitely have a point about the Comanche, we do need a real mini pickup truck that gets good mpg's, and it would be nice if it was an American company that led the way.
Bronco is the only one on that list that would interest me at all. I dig VW busses, but don't want to own one. As for the others on that list all I can say is that they went away for a reason.
I want to bring back bugeye sprites, Mk1 Minis, BMW E-9 coupes, Corvairs, and Chevy II Novas.
