Getting all passive-aggressive about traffic is just too much work. Drive courteously and follow the rules, and don't worry it.

Not that many studies have been done on lane splitting, especially in the U.S. However, it is practiced around the world, and it is stated that lane splitting doesn't automatically increase serious motorcycle accidents or fatalities. It is also stated that if lane splitting were legal and more people rode motorcycles in the U.S., traffic congestion would be reduced, and less fuel would be used, which is good. I also want to mention that drivers and riders will always crash due to human error. I don't watch many Youtube videos on lane splitting crashes, but some of them are due to drivers being dicks and opening their door to cause the rider to crash.
I try to be nice to everyone, like mentioned if you are on your phone, than no. I also live in the DC area. So I understand the poster that mentioned it. I am not nice to people who don't understand the passing lane, especially if they are going slower than the speed limit. I admit I won't yield to cool rollers because I Don't want to have to roll up my windows. And Prius drivers, most hurry to the left drive slow and I'm forced to know their political, and religious veiws.
