C.A.R.T Time Trial-Pocono

I took my '00 Miata to a ~C.A.R.T.~ event on Friday.

I have lots of old friends in this club so it was great to see them again (and we did some good grog and suds afterwards )

As it happened, I got First Place in class for C Stock in my well-worn daily driver. ~CLICK HERE~ to see photos from the event.

I was standing at the start taking pictures. I have no idea how that Vette missed hitting the inside wall. For puke weather, it was a fun event. And we came in second in the Team Relay event, and have the overall points lead. Go Mixed Nuts!

What happened to that two door Neon? That looks like it would be a pretty fun little track car!

Wonder why the Neon is turning left when he should be turning right.

Good friend of mine, the guy who got me started on track days. He was just telling me about this event last night.

Don't forget they have another event coming up on Sept 28 (that's a Monday).

September 28 Circuits Maximus II This is the big one! Three tracks available on one day. We run the North, South and East course, with plenty of time available on all three. The day includes two time trials (North and East) and a Team Relay on the North Course. During the lunch break, we will be taking parade laps on the 2.5 mile NASCAR course.
