Challenge Car: Parts Pick-up Help Needed Near Akron Ohio

Hey guys, I'm looking for someone who would be willing to pick up a transmission for me in Akron, Ohio and who could either store it for a few months or bring it down to the $2012 challenge (would also be able to pick it up at Watkins Glenn or Road Atlanta if you happen to be heading to either of those tracks). Would be happy to return the favor for any parts you need around Atlanta, or could compensate with beer. The transmission is a T-45 for a $2013 or $2014 challenge car. It's pretty clean and weighs right around 112 lbs, so shouldn't be too difficult to move. I'd need to know in the next day or so if anyone is available to help with this.

If you had posted this a bit earlier today, I could've made a run to snag it for you. Unfortunately I am now a couple beers into my day, so no road-trips. :-(

Would it fit in the trunk of a Miata?

If you can't find anyone else, I'd be glad to store it in my garage.

I actually very well may be able to help you with that. I have family in Canton, OH that I'm likely going to see over Labor Day and I'll be at the Challenge. Can whoever has it up in Akron hold on to it until Labor Day weekend? It's kind of a weird situation, but I'm 90% sure that I'm going to be going back and forth to Chicago and maybe New York with stops back in Canton and either of those trips would take me right through Akron. I'm going to firm all that up tomorrow with my in-laws.

If the seller can't hold it I can pick it up soon and bring it to you at a rallycross to relay it.

I just saw this, but I can easily pick it up and store it for you. Just PM me with the details if you haven't figured it out already.

It looks like my trip to the Akron/Canton area for Labor Day weekend is a go. If that works for your seller, I can stop by and pick up the tranny that weekend some time and then I'll throw it in the van when I come down for the Challenge.
