It looks like the $2011 Challenge deadline is Thursday, so I put the entry form in the mail today.
I kind of expected a count down clock on the side of of the screen, just to remind us how little time is left.
This is the first time I've mailed in the money without a running car. It was pretty scary, then I saw how much work had to be done on the N600, with even less time. :)
Sent my entry in last week. The car starts and moves under its own power, but still needs a ton of work before its safe enough to compete in, then there's all the "concours" stuff, too. It may be the ugliest car I've brought to the challenge. Making a ton of compromises to get it there, but I don't know if I'll have the chance to go again for a while after this year.

In fairness, I haven't sent my registration in yet....oops! I did fire the engine on the new ECM and wiring yesterday, so hope is not dead. I don't need a clock here to remind me, I have a huge pile of car-shaped parts on my shop floor to remind me how little time is left! Only three weeks left before I have to ship out...(gulp)

The official deadline is indeed tomorrow, but in grand tradition we're holding entries open for a little while longer. It's a good idea to send us an email to inform us that you intend to enter, and I won't guarantee how long we'll hold your place...but keep working and you'll make it!
I'm looking forward to seeing the N600 in person. Keep up the good work.
This is the first time our team is doing a motor swap. The plan is to put the motor in this weekend. The doors, hood, and trunk lid are painted and hanging from the ceiling of my garage. So it should just be a matter of bolting it together. It does inspire me knowing that Bryce has more to do in less time. (Oh, and I do have a little ebaying to do.)
I personally went down to the GRM headquarters yesterday, and turned mine in Now it's time to get the car running and tuned by the 25th
In an effort to make your collective lives easier, the Challenge entry deadline has been moved to September 15th.
Hurry up and build!
Whew,Mines in the mail! Look for the number 98 corvette!!!!
Everyone watch out for the one man wolfpack called Team Go Fast or Die Trying
In reply to turboHLS30:
Turbo,How did everything turn out? What head did you use and did you get it painted? Shoot me a pic.
Good luck and see ya there.
I still have to go get the head school started and I need to drive to Melbourne to get it. I've decided that I'm going to paint it in a WWII paint scheme
