It wouldn't accept the LaFerrari as a car model. Got a good deal.
Also wouldnt accept the Infiniti "Q-ute45"
Hopefully exactly 31 days from now my autocross runs will be done and i'll be chilling with a sandwich from Hogan's waiting to lay down some blazing quarter mile times
Got my registration in this morning, so I'm now officially going.
Now all I need is a running, driving vehicle to take- since at the moment the only one I have is a 49cc scooter...

I have an old lady customer who claims if a blind man on horseback going 20 "mal an hahr" can't see it then it's good enough for her. Your flares are fine
Technically we can run our car as is so looking good for Team Stampie making the show. Can't remember but alcohol allowed outside of racing? For example on Saturday during Concourse?
In reply to Dusterbd13 :
I think that's when we're starting our upgrades for next year. It ain't Team Stampie if we're not putting it together the night before leaving.

It was frowned upon by many last year on race day

There were definitely some tipsy people carrying thinly disguised adult beverages last year, which was kinda surprising and not at the same time

Ok so my plan of getting the judges drunk and filling in their score sheets for them is out.
I vaguely remember giving the judges beer out of the fiero's ice filled radiator cut out in the hood at the concours.

What if it's also the fuel for your racecar?
In reply to Pete Gossett :
I would recommend against drinking fuel alcohol. I've never tried it though. I have drain Sterno through cheesecloth and drank that before. It makes you go blind but only for a little while.

Certainly not!
(I'm a judge )
I know how much drinking there has been in the past.
However, the rules now state no alcohol at the track.
Its kinda amazing how many of you never read the rules.
I just can't seem to catch a break and work on mine...
I hope I have something done. My actual money for my car went out the window yesterday as the Av needs tires now instead of later.
T minus 25 days.
left to do: little welding, remove number panel goo from last year, little paint touch ups, spreadsheet, mount 1 tire, adjust 1 shock, switch everything over from old trailer to new and e-track the piss out of it
We are at finish painting, detailing, adjut timing and fine tune carb. Fresh slicks before the show.
I'm hoping mine runs before the end of next weekend. Slim chance it may even happen tonight. TBI wiring sure seems way more complicated than it should be.
Powered on the car for the first time yesterday (though the harnesses are held together with wire nuts at the moment), and even risked hitting turning the key to 'start' so I could see if the starter would turn the engine over. Still will likely be a few days before everything is in place to actually try starting it- but it's moving forward steadily at least. I'm more confident than I was when I first got the car (a bit over a week ago) in being able to make this work.
