There is now a Charger version. The general consensus is we like it better than the Challenger version.

And here I am happy that they stuffed another big scary motor in a 4 door car. Makes me grin like the CTSV did. Now if it somehow revived the magnum, I'd probably poop mahself.

Also, you largely cannot trust the mopar crowd. GRM company excluded, I've not had many positive experiences with them. So- i'd take that whole thread with a grain or several of salt.

Lump me in with the crowd who hate the name Charger attached to a 4 door. But 700+hp would make me forget that. And a lot of other things, too.

Oh the other links about it were just as bad.

Most of the "mopar" crowd I've run into are late comers who don't know what the berkeley they're talking about or morons who think the pinnacle of cars was 1968-70.

As much as I like Chrysler products I tend to avoid most fans like the plague. But that's honestly true of any one make fanboys.

I'll take my hellcat in Challenger form due to my hatred of four door cars but I like the fact that they are sticking this in the Charger. Which in my opinion is the best looking four door car available currently and is now likely to be the fastest. Here's to them sticking it in everything they can.

This is at least 10x cooler in a car that actually has an interior to match its exterior and weight. I am also surprised to find myself in no way lamenting the lack of a manual transmission in this particular car...Not that I would personally choose to buy one either way.
