Charlie Putman, long a friend/supporter of ours, recently had a bit of an off and spent 20+ hours trapped beneath his four-wheeler. Fortunately he survived and is getting better.

Next time you see him at the track, stop by and say hello. He's one of the nicest guys in the paddock.

Here's what happened:

20+ hours??? Yikes.

That's a long time to think and wonder...

Glad he's doing well and hopefully he'll be back racing soon.

Yeah, think about it, would you even want to do something that you enjoy for 20+ consecutive hours? Charlie is a great guy--someone who can talk about more than just cars, in fact--so glad to see that the prognosis is good.

Did an offroad rallly that went on for nearly 24 hours in June, 18 hours of driving in it, I got one hour of sleep, my navigator somehow stayed awake through the whole thing.

Being stuck under an ATV though...I'd probably start to think I wouldn't be found in time around the 20 hour mark.

Glad to hear he's on the mend. You gotta ride with a partner, esp up there...

Is it bad that my life is so hectic that I would look forward to 20 hours away from it?
