Through the miracle of modern technology, JG and I will be hosting a Facebook Live Q&A tomorrow (Friday) at 1 p.m. Eastern. We'll be broadcasting from JG's shop.

Through another miracle of modern technology, we can (hopefully) simulcast that chat into this very thread.

Facebook keeps letting me know when everything is live, so I got your trial run in my feed about 20 minutes ago.

Cool. Doing just Facebook Live is fairly easy. The real test is the message board simulcast, but it sounds like Ed has it all figured out.

We're 80% sure that we'll be able to link the video directly to the GRM website. So you'll be able to watch, but you won't be able to comment as that's all FB based.

Well, I don't use FB, but I am wearing cargo shorts. I have to be barefooted today since I left my flip flops in the jet ski yesterday. I'll check it out the big event here.

I'm not seeing anything. Do I have to push any fancy buttons on Facebook?

I can see it on FB without being a FB user. Don't see anything up in the first post but a big white blank space.

If the feed in the first post is giving anyone problems, hop over to our Facebook page and tune in there. I might have to consult our developers to get the full feed in the thread.

I might be late but I'm only seeing the top 3/4 of the video, no matter the window size. Using Chrome on Windows (viewing on Facebook directly).

Edit: If I used fullscreen (F11) I can see the whole screen. Now I see JG and a guy with some serious sideburns talking but I'm not getting any audio. Audio works in another tab in the same browser.

Edit2: OK I get audio if I go to GRM's facebook page and play it there, but not in the "standalone" player linked to for some reason.
